A thoughtful, unhurried questionnaire — their world, their people, the details that make them them. The small things matter most.
Page Hundred A small press for one
One-of-a-kind storybooks written around the child you know — their world, their rituals, the small, specific things that make them them.
— Chapter One —
On the night the garden learned her name, Isla put on her yellow wellies — the left one with the dragon sticker — and followed the moon out past the rosemary bush.
A fragment. Every book is different. Every book is theirs.
Most personalised books drop a child's name into a story already written for somebody else. We start the other way round. We begin with the child — what they love, what they fear, the words they say wrong on purpose, the route they take to the park, the soft toy that sleeps on their pillow.
From there, a story is made. It is theirs before a word is printed. The book that arrives could not have been written for anyone else.
A book made for one child does quiet, serious work. It tells them, gently and without fuss, that their world is worth a story.
To meet yourself on the page — the real you, not a name dropped into somebody else's adventure — is a feeling a child remembers.
Familiar things — the garden, the cat, the walk home — re-drawn as a place where anything might happen.
A quiet, lasting answer to the question every child is asking: what kind of person am I?
A fixed point. The year they were six, held in a book that will still be on a shelf when they are thirty.
We take our time, and so should you. A bespoke book is not built in an afternoon.

From what you've shared, we shape a story that could only belong to your child — a world, a voice, and a direction of travel.
The story is written and the illustrations are directed to fit the child and the book, not the other way around.
Printed on beautiful stock, bound to last. A single book, made once, for one child.
