Who we are
Page Hundred Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. You can reach us at [email protected] for any privacy enquiry.
What this policy covers
This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information during our private preview. It covers the data we currently collect — email addresses joining our waitlist — and outlines how we will handle further information when our product launches.
Information we collect now
When you join our waitlist we collect the email address you give us. Your browser also sends standard technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited), which we use in aggregate only.
Information we will collect when ordering opens
When you commission a book, we will collect the child’s name and basic details, any photographs you choose to upload, story details and dedications you share with us, delivery and billing information, and payment information processed securely by our payment provider. We will update this policy before any of that data is collected, and we will only ever collect data that you give us directly.
How we use information
Email addresses are used to send you waitlist updates — one short letter a month — and your invitation when private preview opens. Aggregate technical data helps us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for marketing.
Lawful basis
We process your email address with your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking unsubscribe in any of our emails or by writing to [email protected].
How long we keep it
We will keep your email until you ask us to remove it, until you unsubscribe, or until eighteen months after our private preview closes — whichever comes first.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on servers within the UK and EU. Where we use service providers based outside the UK and EU, we ensure they offer equivalent levels of protection through mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses under UK GDPR.
Service providers we use
To run the waitlist we use form-handling and email-delivery services. Their role is limited to delivering the messages you choose to send us. We will keep this list updated as we grow.
Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Where we add any non-essential cookies in future (for example, light analytics), we will request your consent through a cookie banner.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data, request restriction or object to processing, request data portability, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] and we will reply within thirty days.
Children’s privacy
Our website and waitlist are intended for adults purchasing books for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children directly. When ordering opens, only parents and guardians may submit information about the child the book is for. See our Child Safety policy for more on how we handle children’s data and likeness.
Changes
We will update this policy as our service evolves. The current version, with its last-updated date, will always live at this URL. Material changes affecting how we handle your data will be communicated by email.
